One of my personal favorite albums from my discography, LFOUFO was also my first to be released only online. I don't have much nostalgia for CDs but over the years I've begun to bring cassette recorders into my studio to use as audio processors. There is something about the sound, quality, and size of a cassette that just feels cool.

My first cassette was Speak and Spell by Depeche mode. My father bought me a walkman and I have this memory of riding a dirt bike listening to Boys Say GO and Big Muff!

You can still find cassette players in many junk stores. Each has a totally unique sound to it making the music experience even more interesting. But, if you don't have a player, and never unseal your copy, LFOUFO is still a great little collector display object that will surely be questioned by any guest visiting your house!

- For years I have searched in vain for a compositional tool that would allow me to sketch musical ideas outside of my studio. Finally the ipad came along. This truly is a wonderful composition tool. Most of these songs came about on the ipad outside of my studio.
